How to Make a Vodka Shot That Doesn’t Suck

Not a fan of tequila? Not a problem. This vodka and OJ pairing will make you love everything about a tequila sunrise (sans tequila, of course). Since the Grenadine is the most dense of all the liquids, it will sink down to the bottom of the drink to create the layered look. This gives a strong flavor in the beginning of the shot and creates a sweeter ending, inevitably making you want to mix another round.

Shots this good are sure to add a kick to any brunch, lunch or nighttime pre-game. Plus, it’s sugary enough for you and your sorority sisters to toss back without even flinching.

Pro Tip: It helps to have a pour spout to ensure an accurate pour and save you from spills.
