Beat the Heat With These Chocolate- and Yogurt-Covered Frozen Fruit Bites

You probably knew you can freeze coffee so you don't water down your iced coffee, but did you know there are lots more ice cube tray hacks to keep you cool this summer?

Snacks don't always have to be unhealthy, and the ones that are quick and easy are even better. Even the most inexperienced person in the kitchen can make these chocolate- and yogurt-covered fruit cubes.

Ingredients
  • 2 yogurt containers
  • 1 banana
  • 6 fresh strawberries
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips

Step 1

Select two ice cube trays, one for chocolate and one for yogurt. Add 1 container of yogurt to one ice cube tray, evenly distributing it among the cubes.

Slice 3 fresh strawberries and 3 fresh bananas into pieces that will fit in the tray and add one piece of fruit to each cube.

Evenly distribute the second container of yogurt in the cubes, covering the fruit. Add another piece of fruit on top of the yogurt and freeze for 30 minutes.

Melt the dark chocolate chips in the microwave for 1 minute and 15 seconds, or until completely melted.

Slice 3 more strawberries and the other half of the banana and put two pieces of fruit into each cube. Cover the fruit with the remaining melted chocolate and freeze for 30 minutes.
