Remember the days when you begged your parents to buy the sugariest cereal at the grocery store, just because there was a cheap plastic toy inside? The trinkets we used to find in our cereal boxes have all but disappeared, replaced with digital codes that are used for online rewards. Lame. I can think of a few prizes college students would love to find in their morning cereal. General Mills, take note.
1. Shot glass
Bonus points if the glass is filled with an actual shot.
2. Money
Get more cash, buy more cereal (or pay your credit card bill). It’s a self-sustaining cycle.
3. Hangover-eliminating patch
Don’t be Cameron Frye. Slap one on, eat a bowl of Lucky Charms, and get on with your day.
4. Boyfriend/girlfriend/date to your friend’s wedding
You will never find happiness at the bottom of an empty bottle, but an empty cereal box could be a different story.
5. Netflix passwords
Since you’ve been out of luck after your ex changed your shared account info.
6. Chipotle gift card
“Chipotle is my liiiiife,” said every college student ever.
7. A good night’s sleep
This means eight hours, in case you’ve forgotten.
8. A’s on all your exams
Now that the weather is getting nice, staying inside all day to study is not going to happen.
9. Time machine
For all those late-night texts you regret sending and all those times you put off writing your ten-page paper until the night before it was due.
10. 5-year plan
Fingers crossed that this includes graduating and finding a job.
11. More food
Because you know you’ll be hungry again in an hour.
