Even as an avid cooker, I still struggle with poached eggs, and I’ll be honest, I’m too lazy (and hungry) to wait for the water to boil or to use vinegar. Ingredients
  • Microwave-safe bowl
  • 1⁄3 cup water
  • 1 egg
  • Paper towel or plate
  • Cooking spray

Spray your microwave-safe bowl with cooking spray so the egg doesn’t stick.

Crack the egg into the bowl and pour in the water.

Cover with the paper towel (or plate), and cook for 50 seconds on medium power. Then, cook for 35 seconds on lower power.
