With chip bags being filled with more air than actual chips lately, it’s hard to justify buying them. So, when the broke get a craving for chips, the broke go homemade. As a bonus, these baked corn tortilla chips are a healthier version of their fried counterpart so we can eat our hearts out.
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Bake Time: 20 minutes
Total Time: 25 minutes
Ingredients:
1 package corn tortillas
Olive oil
Salt, to taste
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400 °F.
2. Brush each side of a tortilla with olive oil and season with salt. Repeat with remaining tortillas.

3. Stack to create a tortilla tower.
4. Cut tortillas into six equal parts and spread onto baking sheet.

5. Bake in preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until crisp. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely before using in dips or salsas.
