For a college student, especially a day scholar, the kitchen is an alien place. And the paltry minority who loves cooking, unfortunately cannot pursue this hobby because of shortage of time.

Keeping in view the hurdles we encounter while cooking, we have come up with 6 easy dishes that can be made by any starving student in just 15 minutes or less.

So here’s the list:

1. Bread Upma

To prepare this dish fry your favourite vegetables and toasted bread in a pan. Addition of Indian spices will take its taste to a whole new level and appease your appetite like never before.

2. Mint Chutney Sandwich

As the name suggests, all you need for making this spicy sandwich is bread and mint chutney. You can also add a slice of cheese on top to treat yourself to the ultimate union of the delectable Indian and American flavours.

3. Fruit Chaat

This one is for the health conscious people and a real treat for fruit lovers. We just have to chop and mix all our favourite fruits into a bowl and add chaat masala to it. After this our tangy dish will be ready to be enjoyed.

4. Aaloo Bhujia Toast

The versatile bread is our saviour again as it helps in making another quick fix dish.

To make this lip smacking toast, pour the contents of the Aaloo Bhujia packet onto the toast. Garnish it with finely chopped onions and tomatoes. And finally, add ketchup for the perfect toast.

5. Bread Pizza

The very name of pizza makes us salivate. But why wait for 30 minutes for a pizza delivery?

All you have to do to grab a yummy pizza bite is to make a paste of suji, cream and finely chopped onions. Add salt and red chilli powder according to your requirement. Now apply the paste on your bread and roast it on a pan. Your home made bread pizza is all set to satisfy your tastebuds.

6. Macaroni Salad

If you are a macaroni lover then this dish is made just for you.

To make this dish first cook and drain macaroni as directed on the package. Then in a large bowl mix mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper. Add thinly sliced celery, finely chopped onion and green pepper to your macaroni, and stir. You can keep it in the refrigerator for some time or you can even enjoy it at room temperature.
