This DIY Sugar Scrub Is the Secret to Silky Summer Skin

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at Sewanee chapter.

If you’re like me and you have sensitive skin, you may relate to the burn-dry-peel cycle my skin goes through during the summer. I slather on the sunscreen and even eat well in order to protect my skin from the sun’s rays, but I still manage to get burned somewhere on my skin. The peeling and dryness that come along with it are less than ideal, too. To solve my summer sitch, I whip up a batch of this DIY sugar scrub. It’s gentle enough for sensitive skin, and it gives hydration to skin dried out by the sun
