Calling all fitness fanatics and cycling enthusiasts! We have all the answers you need to your lingering questions about the popular fitness routine we commonly know to include a stationary bike and buckets of sweat. Even if spinning has never been a thought on your radar, there is no doubt that you will love it after trying some of these highly recommended cycling locations around the country.

Why Is Cycling So Good for You?

Cycling is mainly an aerobic activity, which means that your heart, blood vessels and lungs all get a workout. You will breathe deeper, perspire, and experience increased body temperature, which will improve your overall fitness level.

How It Has Directly Benefitted Me

I'm not even going to lie, but at first, I was terrible at cycling. When I went to classes at my mom's gym, I couldn't keep up and took occasional breaks throughout so that I wouldn't be too exhausted by the end. I constantly felt the need to be competitive, as I looked around and wondered, "How can women twice my age be better at cycling than a 16-year-old?" (Plus, it certainly didn't help that a leaderboard was displayed at the front of the class with everyone's stats.)

I continued to take more classes with my mom and friends and eventually grew to love it. Now, when I attend a class at my new favorite local spot, Cycle Bar, I can never stop peddling. Not only has my stamina increased, but I have become significantly happier as well.

Cycling does not discriminate. No one is turned down from taking a class or wanting to become the best version of themself. You can walk into just about any cycle location around the country and feel like you belong in that inner circle of fit moms and health fanatics. Sounds appealing, doesn't it?

Here are some of the best spin studio locations around the country where you can kickstart your journey to becoming a happier, healthier you.

(And not to mention the lavender infused towels and complimentary chardonnay at the Sunday morning classes for the guests above 18 *wink)
