Skylar is a third year student at the University of Florida majoring in agricultural education and communication with a minor in fisheries and aquatic sciences. She grew up in Sarasota, Florida, where she spent her childhood either at the beach or on the soccer field.
In her spare time, she enjoys reading, running, painting, listening to music, spending time with friends and baking. Her favorite sweet treat is ice cream.
After graduation, Skylar hopes to pursue a career in science communication.
