My name is Shaina and I am a sophomore at UCLA studying Statistics & Data Science. My hobbies include blogging, trying new food spots/cuisines, going to concerts, watching soccer, and traveling. My favorite cuisines are Thai, Japanese, and Italian. Some specific dishes I love is stir fry basil chicken, bolognese, and sushi. My ultimate sweet treat is an Acai bowl; I love eating them more than anything and am always looking for recommendations. I also enjoy a good Korean barbecue and hotpot, especially during the rainy/cold weather.
As for some details on my other hobbies, the most amazing concert I have attended was The Weeknd's back in 2018. The best countries I have traveled to include Japan, Italy, and Turkey. Some places on my bucket list for this year and the next few are Greece (Mykonos, specifically), the Maldives, and Bali.
I hope to continue to expand my culinary journey in LA. Some food spots I really want to visit (but haven't had the chance to yet) are White Elephant, Layla's Bagels, Chamberlain Coffee, and just some more barbecue places.
