Kyra Wohlford

IU '28

My name is Kyra Wohlford and I am a current freshman at Indiana University Bloomington and am a direct admit in Kelley School of Business. I would like to graduate in four years with a bachelor's in marketing and a possible minor in business management. During my first semester at college, I joined a co-ed intramural volleyball sports team and attend a church and several of its events. I am from a small town near Fort Wayne, Indiana and have lived there my whole life, along with almost my entire extended family. During my years in high school, I played varsity volleyball, was a member of Riley Dance Marathon, was a Junior Rotarian, was in National Honor Society, and finished thirteenth in my class. In my free time, I enjoy reading, trying new food/restaurants, and playing with dogs. I have a seasonal job at a doggy daycare and boarding facility, where I feed, walk, and care for dogs, as well as keep the environment clean. I am excited to be a part of Spoon University to get out of my comfort zone as far as food goes. I have been, what some people call, a picky eater for most of my life and have recently begun venturing out with my taste buds. The dining halls offered on campus have many options, just not many that cater to my taste. I am trying to change the way I think about food so that I can try new things and expand my horizons.
