Caroline Bender

Hi, my name is Caroline Bender and I am a freshman at Indiana University majoring in accounting. Here, I have been pushing myself in academics and socially. I value friendships and the “word hard play hard” mindset. I am on the IU lacrosse team and also part of “A Kid Again IU”. I also had a business before college and I am thinking about bringing it here too! I also love to be active and go on runs. This is one way for me to get out and about and also do good for my body!

Professionally, I have worked a few jobs throughout my high school career. I coached lacrosse, I was a hostess, I had my business and more recently, I have worked at a country club’s poolside cafe. Overall, because of these jobs, I am very personable and like to put myself out there. With that, I also like trying new things, hence why I joined SpoonU! These jobs have helped me learn how to face challenges, time management, and customer service.

At SpoonU, I plan to form connections with other members and leaders. I also am excited to try new food places and learn more about myself in what foods I do and don’t like. Overall, I am excited to be engaged and try new things with a fun group of people!
