It all started when I was child, I always wondered why did I tell stories
differently? Why do I see the world differently than my peers? Why are my teachers always calling my mom and asking if I have problems at home due to how extreme I write? Why do I have to limit myself? But I learned to embrace my gift, and to show the world a new perspective on life, the good, bad, and ugly.
Being raised in Texas and then transitioning to the Big Apple, was a big help on my awareness of what goes on outside my bubble. I use my world to come up with videos, interviews, edits, and written works. I learned that with media you can reach audiences and take them out of their hardships, even if its just for a little while. When I was going through my hardships with abuse, divorce, family medical needs, building friendships, and overall paving my way through New York, I always looked for a creative outlet, and media did the job.
I now major in Television and Radio at Brooklyn College and have dreams of one day contributing to the creative industry in a big way. My goal is only steps away, with of course one step at a time
