Hi, I'm Alden! I hail from Capistrano Beach, one of many beach cities in Southern California. I am a first year at the University of Chicago planning to major in Psychology and pursue the Pre-Medicine track. Despite my interest in STEM, I have always found solace in creative writing. More recently, however, have I been taking my interest in cuisine past simply the Food Network, as I venture to discover more restaurants and design bolder recipes at home. (I even joined the Crew team this year, just so I could eat more food.) My passion for written expression and food have brought me to Spoon.
