Some baristas make frothing milk look like an intricate process that only magical-wizardly-barista-hipster-dudes can do. But don’t be fooled by their long beards or green aprons (Starbucks baristas are pretty good at it too). Frothing milk is easy.
Step 1: Ditch the cold milk
‘Cause it’s boring AF.
Step 2: Shake
Fill a mason jar halfway with milk and shake vigorously until the milk doubles in size. Woah.
Step 3: Microwave
Microwave the milk for 30 seconds until it’s nice and frothy.
Step 4: Barista status
Pour milk into espresso and top it off with the froth you’ve made in under a minute. Tell your friends. Grow a beard, put on a flannel, and open up your own little coffee shop where you only use mugs and don’t have wifi.
