Here at the University of Michigan, we spend countless hours in the Undergraduate Library, more commonly known as the Ugli. On days when we are swamped with work, we have no choice but to continue studying through both meal and snack times. Bert’s, located on the first floor of the Ugli, is a student-run café that offers a unique and on-the-go dining experience. Below is an overview of what you didn’t know about your favorite library café.

For the Early-Bird & Late-Night Snackers:
The smaller population of students that arrive at Bert’s at early hours of the morning, and stay until the later hours of the night, have the privilege of experiencing some of the café’s tastiest treats. Berts’ most underrated early-morning snacks are freshly baked croissants, donuts and scones. Even better are late-night snacks such as caffeinated baked goods, including mocha espresso cookies and chocolate chip brownies. Click here for other underrated late-night hot spots in Ann Arbor.
