Celebrate July 4th With Krispy Kreme’s New Red, White, & Blue Doughnuts

Krispy Kreme’s expertise lies in curating the perfect seasonal, limited-edition doughnuts for every occasion possible. Remember their gingerbread glazed doughnuts for the holiday season? What about their pumpkin spice doughnuts for fall? And you can’t forget about their limited edition tropical flavors for summer. To no one’s surprise, Krispy Kreme has done it again for July 4! The doughnut chain announced three new red, white, and blue colored doughnuts on Instagram last week. With the name Star Spangled Sweetness Collection, these new doughnuts not only look patriotic, but the treats are also tasty.

What doughnuts did Krispy Kreme drop?

The Star Spangled Sweetness Collection features three new doughnuts — all with patriotic names to celebrate Independence Day.

The first limited-time doughnut is called the Freedom Flag Doughnut, and as the name suggests, it sports an American flag made of red and white icing with blue and gold sprinkles, representing the stars and stripes.

The Cotton Candy Sparkler Doughnut is an original glazed doughnut dipped in blue icing and cotton candy-flavored sugar. It’s topped with red and white buttercreme dollops, giving it that signature American flag look.

The Firework Cookies & Kreme Filled Doughnut is filled with Krispy Kreme’s cookies and kreme filling and then dipped in red icing. It’s decorated with a blue icing swirl and a candy rocket, representing a firework.

How long are they available for?

You can purchase all of these doughnuts from now until July 4, so make sure you head over soon for the perfect Independence Day treat! Plus, if you go wearing a red, white, and blue outfit, you’ll score a free (!!!) original glazed donut.
