In the need of a sweet treat? Nothing Bundt cakes is the answer… no ifs, ands, or bundts.
Before you can bite into one of their yummy cakes, you have the daunting task of choosing a flavor. It’s definitely hard to pick just one, which is why I just HAD to sample them to create my own unofficial ranking. I tried the Bundtinis in the flavors confetti, chocolate chocolate chip, pumpkin (seasonal flavor), lemon, red velvet, and marble and ranked them all, starting with my least favorite.
Marble
This cake tastes pretty similar to a plain vanilla cake but is still a solid choice. I was definitely expecting more of a chocolate flavor considering it is marble, which was a bit disappointing. Although there is not much of a chocolate flavor, the vanilla flavor is good, and it is perfectly moist. I would save room in your stomach for one of the ones below.
Confetti
If you have a sweet tooth this cake is for you. It has a crave-worthy vanilla and birthday cake flavor, making it a must-have for your next birthday celebration. It pairs phenomenally well with the cream cheese frosting, which is pleasantly surprising. Bonus points for the colorful sprinkles!
Lemon
When life gives you lemons, put them in a bundt cake. I am personally not a big fan of lemon, but I really enjoyed this cake. The lemon flavor is present without being overpowering. It’s very refreshing and light which is a nice change of pace from the rest of the cake flavors which are on the sweeter side.
Chocolate Chocolate Chip
This bundt cake is a chocolate lover’s best friend. This is a great cake and a fan favorite amongst many of my friends. The chocolate flavor is rich and complements the cream cheese frosting. The chocolate chips inside are a great addition and bring even more chocolate flavor to this cake. Chocolate with some more chocolate inside is always a good idea…you can’t convince me otherwise.
Pumpkin Spice
It’s pumpkin spice season! Pumpkin spice is the featured flavor and is only being sold for a limited time, so get it while you can. This cake has a great mix of pumpkin flavor and spice flavor which makes the cake even tastier. The spice is not overpowering and tastes like a bite of fall in the Northeast.
Red Velvet
And the best bundt cake flavor is…
Red Velvet!
This cake is exactly what a red velvet flavor should be. The red velvet flavor is strong and I love the vibrant red color. This cake is really moist and goes perfectly with the cream cheese frosting. I can not emphasize enough how great this cake was.
Disclaimer: This was very difficult and you can not go wrong with any of these cakes!
