Pumpkin Spice Pretzel Slims
Pumpkin flavor: 8/10
Overall quality: 10/10
Starting on a high note – these are the best fall treats I have ever had! The pretzels are coated in a sweet vanilla yoghurt and dusted and drizzled with pumpkin seeds and caramel. They’re crunchy, creamy, sweet, and salty – a fall party in your mouth and by far my favorite goodie I purchased from the Trader Joe’s Pumpkin Season section. The pumpkin flavor was definitely there, but it could have been stronger, so I give these Pumpkin Spice Pretzel Slims an 8/10 for pumpkin flavor, but a 10/10 for overall quality because any treat that hits all the flavor and texture profiles wins my heart.
Pumpkin Cranberry Crisps
Pumpkin flavor: 4/10
Overall quality: 9/10
Looking for a way to spice up the fall charcuterie board? These crisps will be a great addition! The Pumpkin Cranberry Crips are crunchy, sweet, and savory and would pair nicely with a nice goat cheese or any savory spread. While there’s not a whole lot of pumpkin flavor here, the cranberries were definitely present. I give them a 4/10 for pumpkin flavor because the cranberry won the flavor battle, but a 9/10 for overall quality because I loved how they were sweet and savory.
Pumpkin Biscotti
Pumpkin flavor: 5/10
Overall quality: 9/10
I dipped these Pumpkin Biscotti in my Dunkin’ coffee and felt so cozy. I didn’t really get a pumpkin kick, but I did taste cinnamon and nutmeg, which reminded me of fall. They were nice and crunchy, incorporating fall spices to create strong flavor. They almost had an after taste of pound cake which was oddly tasty! Overall, I give these Pumpkin Biscottis a 5/10 on pumpkin flavor and a 9/10 for overall quality because the consistency and flavors were there.
Fall Zucchette Pasta with Pumpkin Butternut Squash Sauce
Overall quality: 6/10
Before we get into the ranking, can we acknowledge how cute these pumpkin pastas are? They’re almost like a grown up version of wagon wheel mac n’ cheese! This pasta and sauce combo is mainly butternut squash, so naturally, not a whole lot of pumpkin flavor here, but still so tasty. I whipped this up with some sautéed chicken, mushrooms, and spinach for the ultimate warm, cozy fall dish. Unfortunately, these adorable pumpkin pastas fell apart while cooking even before they were completely cooked through. Overall quality 6/10.
Pumpkin Chocolate Chunk Oatmeal Cookie Mix
Pumpkin flavor: 10/10
Overall quality: 10/10
These Pumpkin Chocolate Chunk Oatmeal Cookies were extremely easy to make! I added water, egg, and butter to this and created the most beautiful orange cookie batter. Rightfully so, I had to taste the raw batter and it was 10/10 amazing on both a pumpkin and overall scale. I took my batch out of the oven a few minutes to keep them a little chewy, but definitely bake longer if you’re looking for a crunchy cookie.
Pumpkin Bread and Muffin Mix
Pumpkin flavor: 10/10
Overall quality: 10/10
I baked this Pumpkin Mix into mini muffins and they were absolutely heavenly. The pumpkin spice flavors were all there and to make the muffins even better, I whipped up a cream cheese frosting. Talk about the perfect fall treat! Also, they were incredibly simple to make. Overall, so pleased with these! 10/10 for pumpkin flavor and quality.
