If you’re an Illini, you have probably heard of bar crawls, but have you ever heard of a bubble tea crawl? Bubble Tea, also commonly referred to as Boba Tea, is a tea drink with milk and tapioca pearls. There is an abundance of bubble tea shops on campus, each with something unique to offer.
UIUC Spoon will be hosting their first ever bubble tea crawl, which would not be possible without the generous funding from HQ. This event will take place on Wednesday, November 28th, 2018. Participating cafes include Hammerhead, Latea, Teamoji, Cafe Bene, and Kung Fu Tea. We will be starting at the Illini Union where we will have Hammerhead delivered to us. Then we will head to Teamoji, Latea, Cafe Bene, and then finally to Kung Fu Tea.
This event is open to the public for the great deal of only $5! All are welcome! If interested, then email uiuc.spoon@gmail.com.
Additionally, UIUC Spoon will be taking over the community spoon instagram story! This will give people who are unable to make it to the event to see the different variety of drinks that each cafe has to offer.
