Fall is great for a lot of reasons, but the unique desserts inspired by the season’s flavors take the cake (no pun intended). Apple, pumpkin, cinnamon, maple — you name it, there’s a New York City bakery that’s done something incredible with it.

The creativity demonstrated by these New York City bakeries is bound to astonish you, and will probably make you pretty damn hungry along the way. 

1. Sticky Toffee Pudding Fritter

Apple Cider doughnuts have met their match with this delectable treat from The Doughnut Project. But hurry! This fall-inspired fritter is only available for a limited time.

2. Pumpkin Pie Layer Cake
