Halo Top’s New Gingerbread House Flavor Is Coming To Stores This Month

Growing up, my brother and I always made those gingerbread house kits, decorated with white icing, gum drops, licorice, and for me, always Red Hots. I’d love to say they were beautiful, but in reality, they were a hot mess, and beyond decoration, pretty useless. But now, there’s a gingerbread house that’s actually edible and pretty freaking beautiful. Halo Top is releasing a new holiday flavor and, you guessed it, it’s Gingerbread House.

Now, calm down. It’s not exactly in stores yet, but it will be soon. Here’s everything you need to know about this little taste of the holidays.

The Flavor Flav

Unfortunately, there are no gum drop buttons, but there is a whole lot of sweet and spicy flavor. Halo Top’s low cal, high protein Gingerbread House pint is a mix of ginger cookie pieces with swirls of frosting, with ginger spice-flavored ice cream.

I’m freaking out. Are you freaking out?

Of course, known for flaunting it’s calories on the front of their pints, we gotta talk nutrition. This flavor comes in at 360 calories and 20 grams of protein per pint, which makes it one of their higher calories flavors. However, it ranks the same as their Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Red Velvet, Cinnamon Roll, Candy Bar, and Pumpkin Pie Flavors.

Where To Get It

Just when you thought you were having a heart attack over the excitement of Starbucks’ new holiday drink, Halo Top walked in and said hold up, we do the holidays, too.

Gingerbread House will be hitting store shelves later this November, but like your Great Aunt Carol, it’s only around for the holidays. But if you’re chomping at the bit like one of Santa’s reindeers, you have two options for getting a hold of this flavor stat.

According to Delish, you can head to Halo Top’s new scoop shop in Los Angeles, which opens Nov. 15, and they’ll be serving it up there. Or, you can ship yourself a pint starting today from icecreamsource.com.

So yeah, I’m ordering a pint or 12 for each day of Christmas, now.
