One of my goals for 2017 was to drink more fun cocktails (sacrifices, am I right?), so I thought I’d start by figuring out some inspiring new ways to rim a cocktail glass rather than just defaulting to the traditional salt or sugar. Don’t get me wrong, I love the classics, but the cooler my rims are, the fancier I can pretend I am.
The best part about these rims is that even if the actual drink isn’t fancy, it looks like you’ve made something really impressive. Heck, you can even put chocolate milk in a glass and it will look bomb if you rim it with the s’mores-inspired idea.
I think the salted caramel rim would go great with a salted caramel martini, the s’mores rim would pair well with a chocolate martini, and the spicy rim would add a nice kick to anything fruity, particularly watermelon or lime-based beverages. No matter what drink you decide on, these cocktail rims are guaranteed to make any beverage an experience.
