This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at IU chapter.

After a rough, wild, mostly ridiculous 2016, we all need some extra motivation and confidence to start 2017 off right. The new year is usually a time for revived goals and aspirations, and this new year should be no different.

Since celebrities are often people that we non-famous folk look up to, I decided to deliver a diverse list of celeb mantras that will be sure to make your 2017 a great year. After 2016, it shouldn’t be hard to beat.
