Why You Need to Drink Rekorderlig Cider This Spring

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at NYU chapter.

As spring arrives and melts the ice in the heart of NYC, Swedish cider brand Rekorderlig will be making its way to shelves across the city.

Already widely popular in Europe, the drinks are finally arriving in the States (but we’re not complaining).

Some of our favorite joints like Crosby Hotel, FIKA, and Spritzenhaus in Brooklyn will be offering the bottles for purchase—but you can also grab a pack for home at Gristedes and Fairway stores.

Select flavors, including a strawberry-lime, wild berries and pear, will be available for thirsty New Yorkers.

In terms of taste, we decided that the stawberry-lime comes out on top, with the most fruit flavors at the forefront.

While indulgently sweet with a crisp, soda-like fizz, Rekorderlig ciders are relatively light with a 4.5% alcohol content.
