Ahh, fall. With PSLs abound, crisp air and falling leaves, it’s easy to see why so many people fall head-over-heels with autumn (pun intended). And with so many delicious, affordable snacks at Trader Joe’s, it’s easy to see why so many choose to shop there exclusively.
I also think that you, and your wallet, will fall in love with these fall-inspired snacks from TJ’s.
1. Cinnamon Schoolbook Cookies: $2.79
We all know that with fall comes the daunting task of sleeping until noon everyday during the summer to having to wake up for those horrible 8 am classes. So why not buy some cookies that remind you of the good old days when snack time and nap time were actually built into your schedule (insert nostalgia here).
#SpoonTip: All of Trader Joe’s tubs of cookies are actually under $5 so go crazy and try a bunch of them. Try all of them!
2. Speculoos Cookie Butter: $3.69
Truthfully, I’ll eat this year round but the gingerbready-goodness that is cookie butter is even an better snack in the Fall and Winter. Spread it on some waffles on a cold fall morning, or just eat it straight out the jar (I’m not judging).
3. Pumpkin Spice Coffee: $4.49
For all those PSL lovers out there: this one’s for you. Now, instead of spending around five bucks a pop for a latte this fall, you can make your own at home.
Better yet, the coffee comes in K-cup form for those of us who still haven’t mastered the art of brewing our own coffee.
4. Tomato Soup: $2.29
There’s nothing better on a chilly fall night than curling up with a blanket and some soup. Plus, soup is an easy, quick, meal for those of us that don’t have a ton of time to cook for ourselves during the week.
#SpoonTip: All TJ’s boxed soups are under $5.
5. Maple Pecan Granola: $2.99
Yogurt and granola is such a quick and easy snack—for only three bucks you really can’t go wrong.
Bonus: Kale, Sweet Potato, and Butternut Squash Pizza: $3.99
Fall-inspired pizza? So down.
