13 Foods That Look Like Cathy

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at PITT chapter.

One thing that the University of Pittsburgh does not lack is diversity. Students flock to Pitt from all across the world, bringing different cultural, ethnic, and religious backgrounds. With all of these unique languages, traditions, beliefs, and behaviors, Pitt could be a splintered campus, but it’s not. There is at least one thing that unites us all — our undying love for Cathy.

“Cathy” is of course referring to the Cathedral of Learning, the tallest academic building in the US, as well as the second tallest gothic-styled building in the world. Although outsiders may not understand our adoration of a building, Pitt students know that she is a queen, the most regal of babes.

Unfortunately, our Cathy-gazing is oft cut short due to travels and darkness. In those instances, we can only try to find meaning (ie reminders of Cathy) in objects around us. In the case that you are unable to look up or out the window at our lady, I’ve compiled a collection of foods that resemble her.
