It’s a Monday night, where can we find you?
Probably an academic dinner party or a yoga or spin class At the library after an active day of classes and jogging and being healthy and a great person At an interesting exhibition or at a friends watching a movie and studying Maybe at the pub with friends, or maybe a study night. Depends what the vibe is, I don’t really mind Probably at a book reading or hanging out with friends in a nice flat Hopefully at the library, but if something better comes up then…
Spring break is coming up, where are you off to?
Hoping to go to a city do to some museums, but would love to get to some clubs too Somewhere I’ve never been before, like Ibiza or Morocco Maybe be going to see the family, or on a spontaneous trip with my friends Either to London for a long weekend or with my parents on a family getaway Berlin, Barcelona or any city where clubs stay open past 2am Probably going to do some charity work saving turtles, but also spend quality time with family and friends
What is your daily outfit of choice?
Whatever my mood tells me. If I have to study, then gym clothes, if its a nice day a new funky pair of sunglasses Whatever is clean and looks semi-presentable Possibly sweatpants, but you would never know as I style them up so they are acceptable to wear outside the house Usually skinny jeans and a t-shirt which I just threw on but somehow appear as if I’ve worn something from a magazine Simple is key. I wear mostly black, occasionally with some grey or navy thrown in Collard shirt under a cashmere or wollen jumper. Jeans will do as long are they aren’t ripped. And either Hunters or converse will do.
For a dinner out, what is your restaurant of choice?
Im laid back so I’m happy going wherever my friends are going, Im there for the conversation, the food is an added extra Tailend, there is a little bit of everything for everyone, plus free wifi Big fan of Forgan’s, the bothies are great for dinner parties Blackhorn, can’t go wrong with a classic burger, wrap or hotdog Little Italy. You know the whole menu and it never disappoints Bibi’s, because you can bring your own alcohol and the food is so goddamn tasty
The morning after a night out, where can we find you?
On a brisk walk on west sands to start the day Catching up with a friend over a cuppa Northpoint. Pancakes and bacon please. At the Old Course having a sauna and spa Either in bed watching netflix and dying, or totally fine and getting work done, there is no in between I like to get out of the house as early as I can, so wherever opens first
Where is your favourite study spot?
The library on the benches outside, so the wifi works but you can smoke, talk loudly and drink hot beverages The golf museum cafe, because they serve green tea but the view makes me feel as though I’m outside The library, most likely the bottom floor as it allows me to mingle if I want The Rusack’s bar lounge area, which has a great view of the golf course The Union, where it is acceptable to get a beer and do reading Taste, if I can get a space. If not, 2nd floor of the library in a booth
