Waffles: what’s not to love? But did you know there are actually plenty of other foods you can make with your prized waffle iron? Here are breakfasts, lunches, and dinners to amp up the use of your waffle iron.

Breakfast

Let’s not beat around the brunch; waffles are a staple breakfast food. And although a carb-lover’s favorite, breakfast is the most important meal of the day.

Who doesn’t love Pillsbury? Find the little dough boy on a package in the store, bring it home, open and press into the waffle iron and TA-DA. It’s that easy and you will love these cinnamon roll waffles.

Take frozen hash browns or grate a fresh potato onto the waffle iron and press until golden brown and crispy. If you love potatoes, bacon & waffles, need I say more?

Place your bacon onto the waffle iron, and if you’re feeling adventurous sprinkle a little brown sugar on the top. Candied bacon is the perfect combination of sweet and salty in just a few minutes.

Start with either frozen or homemade falafel. Fill waffle press and cook until the falafel is golden brown and firm in the center, 6 to 10 minutes. To build the sandwiches, stuff each pita half with a falafel. Add your choice of toppings, drizzle with the hummus and sprinkle with a few dashes of hot sauce.

You can make your dough the night before, or use store bought dough that’s pre-made. Knead the dough in two equal pieces. Choose your fillings, stuff and add the second piece of dough on top. Place in iron and press until golden brown and gooey.This will be the best waffle pizza you’ve ever had.

Grab some Ciabatta bread, prosciutto, mozzarella, and tomato and you have yourself a little slice of Italy in a sandwich.

Just season some ground beef with salt and pepper and form it into a very thin patty. Then, you place it in the waffle iron and cook it for about 4 minutes and you have yourself a fast and delicious grilled waffle burger.
