5 Ways to Remix College Snacks With KIND Peanut Butter Clusters

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at UC Irvine chapter.

Do you remember when in grade school, you’d open your colorful little lunchbox that your mom packed you, and you’d hope there would only be your favorite snacks? When you think back as to what those favorite snacks were, chances are Nutter Butters are on that list.

For those of you that don’t know, Nutter Butters are two peanut-shaped crackers sandwiched with peanut butter filling (yeah, they’re great). And because peanut butter is one of my absolute favorite things, I have constantly been on the hunt for new, great, maybe even healthier, buttery snacks since my childhood.

So imagine my excitement when I found these KIND Peanut Butter Whole Grain Clusters which are basically a healthy, more versatile form of Nutter Butters. And with 10g of protein and 22g of whole grains, you don’t have to feel bad for eating the whole bag.

Just to make the clusters even more enticing, I’ve come up with 5 fun ways to eat them that even your mom would enjoy.

Another sweet & salty combo that adds variety to your normal dessert routine and uses two of the ingredients you’ll already have from the previous recipes. And when I asked my boyfriend to describe it for the sake of this article, he replied with, “It was good.” So it’s got to be good.

#SpoonTip: If you melt Hershey’s chocolate and pour it over the ice cream, it hardens to become a crunchy shell.

Bonus: By the handful

These crunchy clusters make a great snack all on their own. So just grab a handful and get munching – they’re sure to get you through that study grind.
