5 Restaurants You Have to Try in Westwood Before You Graduate

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at UCLA chapter.

Every college town has its go-to local eateries that give it character – and Westwood is no exception. Whether it’s dinner with your friends or satisfying your drunchies on a Thursday night, these joints are the essentials. If you don’t try them before you graduate, you’re missing out on the full UCLA experience. Being stuck

Being stuck at your apartment or dorm room is no excuse either (I’m looking at you, Hedrick Summit) when you can order food for delivery or pickup from your favorite restaurants using GrubHub – the online food delivery service that you always needed. Just use the promo code “UCLAtasty” to get $7 off of your first order of $15 or more.

Need to feed a lot of people and want to feed them well? Look no further than Enzo’s 23″ pizza – it’s huge and delicious – everything you’d want in a pizza.

2. Jose Bernstein’s

What do you get when you mix a Jewish deli with Mexican food? You get Jose Bernstein’s – the only place in Westwood where you can get both a pastrami sandwich and carne asada burrito.

3. Italian Express

Better known as “Ital,” this is the place to go when you’re craving cheesy garlic knots and mozzarella sticks. I have very fond memories of getting Ital delivery on rainy days my freshman year.

4. TLT

TLT (The Lime Truck) is probably one of my absolute favorite finds in Westwood. It has a unique menu, with such a variety of delicious options that it can be hard to choose. My go-to is always the Steak Quesadilla Salad Bowl and Guava Limeade (my mouth is watering just thinking about it).

5. Coral Tree Cafe

This local Westwood cafe has great breakfast and brunch options, and can be great place to study when you need to get away from the library.
