Food trailers are iconic in Austin. You can find just about any type of cuisine in the Austin food truck scene, but it can be tough to find the trailer that serves the food you want. Well, someone read your mind and created an app that tells you where all of Austin’s food carts are. Hallelujah!

If you check out the app store and search austinfoodcarts (no spaces), you will find the holy grail of Austin’s mobile food trend, the food carts. So many of these beloved trailers are constantly on the move and can be in a different place just a week after you visited. This app is the key to ending your frustration and allows you to keep tabs on your favorite trucks. You can search by cart (truck), cuisine, or by what’s nearby. This trusty little app will also let you view the menu if there is one available without having to close or leave the app. Also, the map shows your current location and in turn, the food trucks that are closest to you, which is awesome. The best part? You can view all the food trucks in Austin alphabetically if you aren’t a map person like me.

Basically, this app is ridiculously awesome and useful especially if you’re a foodie and love the food trailers like I do. Whenever I’m out with friends and want to hit up a food trailer I can use my app to find all my favorite trucks that are always on the move. If you like to explore Austin and it’s unique food scene, I would definitely recommend this app. And the best part is, it’s free!
