College Station isn’t exactly your normal college town. In fact, I think we can all agree that it’s much better. With graduation coming it’s time to begin a new chapter in our lives. In order to make these last few days in Aggieland special, we’ve compiled a list of a few must-visit restaurants for your graduation weekend.
Lunch Locations
Do you have a morning or midday ceremony? If so, these are for you.
The Chicken
The oldest bar on Northgate, it would be a shame not to visit Dixie Chicken one last time. It is tradition, after all. Go with the alumni in your family, carve your name into the walls, and don’t forget to take a picture or two.
Napa Flats
Traditionally known for their wood-fired kitchen, I guarantee there is much more. The atmosphere is fun and quaint at the same time. They have great seating both out in the sun and in their pristine dining areas, and the decor is adorable. Still, even better than that is the food. They have quite possibly the greatest hummus in Texas.
Nighttime Dining
Looking for something a little more sophisticated? Here are some gems right here in town.
Veritas Wine and Bistro
With the small outdoor pond and archaic architecture, Veritas is perfect for a quick grad photo. Their dishes taste as though they’re actually made in Italy. It’s the perfect dinner location without being overly formal.
Cafe Eccell
It’s not difficult to see why Cafe Eccell is a prime spot. Check out their website and just look at the amazing food. With wide windows, stone flooring, and a gorgeous earthstone fired oven, it won’t be difficult to get into the celebration mood.
Christopher’s World Grille
Located in the more scenic part of Bryan, Christopher’s is by far the most formal restaurant on our list. The atmosphere embodies that of a southern manor. The food is delicious, and the management is eager to serve. Bonus: they serve 2 delicious gluten free desserts. Good luck still getting a reservation here though!
