It’s that time of year again, folks. Correction: It’s the happiest time of year. Spring has sprung and that means one thing…The Rocktown Beer & Music Festival has arrived (!!!!!!).
It’s basically every college student’s dream, yes? I’ve come to the realization that I actually like beer, but I’ve also come to the realization that I’m a beer snob. I won’t drink that watered-down-taste-likes-pee crap that every frat house within a two mile radius is serving on the weekends. It’s disgusting, and I refuse.
But I digress.
Anyway, so for those that share my hatred of the toilet bowl water that you are forcing yourself to drink each weekend, this festival is for you.
Here’s the lowdown:
April 30th. 3-8:30pm. Turner’s Pavilion. $36 (in advance or $40 day of).
36 breweries+3 bands+delicious food=YUS.
Take a break from studying for exams, come get a lil tipsy with me, eat some bangin’ food (maybe like this mouth-watering caprese grilled cheese), and listen to some great bands.
P.S. If you want to volunteer at the event, check out this link. I hear ~free~ beer is involved.
Must be 21+ to attend.
