A Donut-Macaron Hybrid Exists, and Here’s Where to Get One

Happy National Macaron Day, foodie fam. We’re back at it again with another Insta-worthy treat. Listen up, ’cause we’re about to take your feed from basic to bougie. Renowned Pastry Chef, owner of Payard Patisserie & Bistro, FP Patisserie, and FP bakery in New York, Francois Payard has announced the release of something truly sweet: the “Macaronut.”

After putting on the final touches, Chef Payard unveiled his godly confection as a “hybrid true to its name combining a French Macaron shell with a strawberry powdered Donut base, engulfed in Strawberries and Cream ganache.”

Amidst the myriad of “Frankenstein” food creations scouring the Big Apple, the “Macaronut’ is welcomed with much anticipation (and drool). And is available to the public on March 20th, National Macaron Day, at any of Chef Payard’s NYC locations. Get them while they’re trending.
