If JMU is known for one thing it’s the dining halls. One in particular is considered by many as the crown jewel of the James Madison campus. For those of you who haven’t guessed it, I’m talking about E-Hall.
Although almost every meal you eat at E-Hall is sure to be an awesome one, E-Hall’s Sunday brunch will fill any void, satisfy any craving, and basically start of your Sunday with a bang. Students will crawl out of the woodwork, for some fresh tots and a waffle on a Sunday morning.
One thing is true, you’re definitely bound to run into some characters at E-Hall’s Sunday brunch.
1. The Morning After Couple

These people are constantly redefining the term “relationship goals”. As the saying goes…“you know its real when he takes you to E-Hall.”
2. The Over-Dresser

Those people dressed to the nines in the omelet line, we’ve all seen them. I think the real question here is… are they going to church later? Or are they in last night’s clothes?
3. The Athletes

D1 Athletes (Also known as the dining halls most loyal customers) are usually seen with three plates per person and obviously, they roll up about 10 people deep. Sweat and hash-browns is a match made in heaven. Just sayin’.
4. The Zombie

This person is just too hungover to care, and trying desperately not to vom onto their freshly made pancakes.
5. The Gym Rat

This person has already ran a 5k, did some situps, and possibly climbed the Rockwall at urec before you even woke up.
6. The Dedicated Student

The person doing homework while enjoying breakfast, basically the envy of every unmotivated student. Look out for their name on the Deans List.

Usually made up of about 6 or more guys or girls who like to sit around the table, enjoy breakfast, and laugh about the antics of the weekend #squadgoals.

You know the type…muscular thumbs, a hunched back, hair in their face, and zero F’s given. These people wont look up from their phone because they’re too busy either swiping right on tinder, or deleting their drunk snap chat story from last night.
