Did I mention they’re vegan? So basically they’re healthy and guilt-free.
This Tuesday, February 9th from 4-7 pm, Capital City Bakery will be serving fresh, made-to-order vegan beignets to celebrate Fat Tuesday. Pay $5.50 for 2 Texas-sized beignets, and get a Cafe Du Monde chicory iced coffee with all that extra change you’ll have leftover.
Last year, the bakery sold over 500 beignets. They’re only available while supplies last, so be sure to get there early. Capital City will also be serving Mardi Gras treats along with their usual selection of vegan treats all day long. Check out their Facebook page for event updates and more!
