You all know that feeling when your stomach starts to growl, your mind goes blank, and all you can think about is that delish chocolate stuffed churro you just saw on Instagram (c’mon, you all know which one I’m talking about).
But there’s one problem… You’re crawled up in bed, stuck writing an essay, watching the newest season of Orange is the New Black, or, if you’re anything like me, you’re just lazy AF.
We all have our guilty pleasures, that food we crave every other day, or that home-cooked meal your dad makes for you every time you’re home for break. What we all need is a nice drawer under our dorm room beds stuffed with snacks for afternoons, days, or entire weekends when you’re too lazy to do, well, anything.
Sabra “To Go”
You can thank Sabra for creating an even easier way to satisfy your hummus cravings. These “To Go” hummus packs give you all you need to ease your hunger after too many episodes of Law and Order, a long night in the library, or those late night binge-eating sessions after a fab night out.
We all know how hard it is to scoop some hummus into a container and put a handful of chips into a Ziploc bag. Don’t worry, Sabra understands, too.
Guac Chips
Who wants chips and guac when you can just eat a guac-flavored chip? I do. The Guacachip is a guacamole flavored tortilla chip, which is apparently made with real avocados.
Although I can’t exactly agree with this interesting invention, you’ll certainly get the bang for your buck, and you won’t even have to walk the five feet to the fridge to grab that Wholly Guacamole.
Skinny Pop
Popcorn is not only perfect for your Netflix binge-watching nights (entire weekends, if we’re being honest), but it’s perfect for anytime you’re craving something light, salty, and buttery.
But when it comes to hopping out of bed to actually make the popcorn, your hunger pangs go away. Thankfully, Skinny Pop has come to the rescue with a low-cal popcorn that’s almost as good as the real thing.
Chobani Flip
8 am class? Just grab your Chobani Flip™ to avoid a mess of granola on your floor when you roll back after a long day of class and make your taste buds happy by combining lots of delish flavors like Hazelnut flavored yogurt with hazelnuts and chocolate chips, and banana flavored yogurt with honey roasted salted almonds and dark chocolate shavings.
Sure, these Chobani Flip will burn a hole in your wallet, but at least you don’t have to decide between what kind of yogurt and granola you should buy at the store because let’s be honest, that’s far too much effort.
Ketchup Chips
If you’re anything like me, you freakin’ love ketchup. With your eggs, your breakfast potatoes, that juicy burger off the grill…and according to Lay’s, in your chips.
I’m not really sure if I’d let my ketchup addiction go this far, but if you’re passionate enough about ketchup and are too damn lazy to get some fries to eat with it, ketchup chips are your new guilty pleasure.
Microwavable Pancakes
What’s better than a warm chocolate chip pancake fresh off the griddle topped with a dollop of butter and sprinkled with sweet maple syrup? Probably nothing. But if you’re lazy, or even just stuck in your dorm room with no stove to make your pancakes on, you’ll have to amount to microwavable pancakes.
I dunno about you, but I’d rather have, well, almost anything else. But if you’re craving a pancake, thank your microwave and freezer for letting you have a (slightly soggy) one made right in your room.
Ramen Noodles
Sure, mom’s chicken noodle soup is pretty freakin’ delish, but you’re not really a college student if you don’t stash cup of noodles in your room, am I right? This is the ultimate lazy food, and if you really think about it, it’s basically healthy if you pretend the ‘carrots’ and ‘peas’ are real and nutritious.
But who cares about nutrition when you’ve got a hearty bowl of soup that you can crawl up in bed with on a cold, winter day? Or just a day where leaving your room seems unbearable.
S’mores Chewy Bars
Reminiscing about those sweet summer nights with bonfires, melted chocolate, and burnt marshmallows? Too freakin’ lazy to put a marshmallow in the microwave and make your dorm room styled s’more? Although I swear it’s not hard.
Smore’s Chewy Bars will have to suffice. They’re not a s’more, nothing will ever replace a s’more, but at least they’re nutritional AF.
It’s okay, I know your Amazon Prime cart is getting a little bit pricey with these weird snacks. I mean, who wants to leave their room at all when they can stash all of this under their bed and in the bottom drawer of their dresser?
