Before post-Halloween depression could fully sink in Starbucks saved us all by releasing their holiday cups. On November 1st, Starbucks stores officially started to use the classic red cups marking the start of the holiday season. This year they’re even ditching the festive patterns for a minimalistic, classy look.
What do these red cups mean? It means your tongue will soon taste fan favorite flavors such as the Gingerbread and Eggnog Lattes, Caramel Brulee Latte, and of course the all powerful Peppermint Mocha.
The newly introduced Chestnut Praline Latte will be back on the menu this season as well as Starbucks new flavor this year the Holiday Spice Flat White. Expect this new flavor out on November 30th as well as a new array of holiday treats such as the ugly sweater cookie.
Pumpkin Spice has been nice, but let’s be real: Red cup season is the most wonderful time of the year. If you were looking for an excuse to bring out the plaid sweaters and jam out to Christmas music, look no further. Pull out your ornaments, blast some Michael Buble, and head to Starbucks to get your hands on a red cup. Happy Holidays y’all.
