5 Places to Pumpkin Spice Up Your Life in Gainesville

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at UFL chapter.

It’s finally that time of year again. The weather in “The Ville” is beginning to get more manageable (kind of, not really) and people are making the transition from Nike shorts and frat tanks to jeans and sweaters.

Not only does the cooler weather bring change in clothes, it brings the inevitable…pumpkin spice latttes (PSL). Everywhere. Everyone. If you’re not a fan of the PSL but still enjoy the cinnamon-pumpkin taste of fall, we got you covered. Here are five places in Gainesville to get your pumpkin spice fix without coffee.

1. Midnight Cookies

One of their current featured flavors is the Mocha Pumpkin Spice cookie. A blend of cocoa and traditional spices will definitely give you your fix of fall flavors. This cookie is even vegan friendly. Just wow.

2. Yogurtology

Be sure to check out one of Gainesville’s beloved fro yo places this month because they’re serving up a pumpkin spice flavor. That’s right, the sweet, creamy flavors of their yogurt are now blended with cinnamon and nutmeg. This will be your new pumpkin fall fav.

3. Gigi’s Cupcakes
