21 Burlington Eats You Need to Try Before You Die

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at UVM chapter.

An article written by The Daily Meal listed Burlington the best college towns for food in America.  Not only are Burlington restaurants one of the best I’ve ever tasted, most restaurants follow the concept of farm to table.  Farm to table is a concept in harvesting food locally and delivering it to customers.

Burlington is the place that Ben And Jerry’s call home.  How could you not share 20 flavors of your favorite ice cream with your closest friends?  Or eat it all alone, ice cream calories don’t count right?

2. Sassquash at The Skinny Pancake

Not only are all their ingredients from local farms, but Skinny Pancake also has the magical ability to make vegetables taste like candy in their delicious crepes.  The sassquash is made with local squash with hi-land chevre, apples and fresh spinach on a local whole wheat crepe.  It’s delish.

3. Cinnamon Suger Maple Donut at Donut Dilemma

One of the biggest challenges I have, whenever I go to American Flatbread, is choosing what pizza because I’m always stuck between two.  A little secret is American Flatbread lets you split the pizza in two and get both.  That’s pretty dope.
