After graduation all you want is to celebrate never needing to log in to ClassesV2 again with some good eats. This list should help you find the best place for brunch, lunch or dinner that everyone in your family will enjoy. Plus if there’s somewhere on this list that you haven’t eaten at in the past four years you have been missing out, take this chance to make up for your past dining mistakes.
For Brunch/Lunch:
Caseus
So much more than grilled cheese, Caseus is for everyone…except those who hate cheese. It’s a little cramped but the food and service make up for it. Don’t miss the cheese plate or whatever the daily special happens to be–it’s always a winning dish.
Heirloom
Heirloom combines fresh, local ingredients for both decadent and light dishes. The classy atmosphere is great for the whole family and the street–side windows are great for people watching.
John Davenport’s
A huge breakfast menu with a great view, start your morning off right!
Pacifico
A price fix lunch or brunch with latin flare!
Good For Dinner:
Zinc
Zinc always has one element in each dish that makes it pop. The appetizers are super sharable and the pizza bread they give you to start is addictive.
Roia
Housed in a beautiful old bank, Roia brings creative Italian food and homemade pasta to the Elm City.
Olea
Get a taste of the Mediterranean at Olea. Maybe stop by the Yale University Art Gallery on your way?
Harvest
Harvest’s menu literally has everything from rich meats and pastas to light salads and seafood. Cross your fingers that it’s nice out and you can sit in the outside terrace.
Tarry Lodge
Spoon loves Tarry Lodge and, after eating almost the entire menu, you can believe us when we say you can’t go wrong with anything there. Their pizza gives New Haven style joints like Pepe’s and Sally’s a run for their money and all of their dishes are made with abundant amounts of love.
Mory’s
Mory’s is the classic and has food to match. Go with all of your roommates and their families for one last Mory’s cup!
