Dunkin’ just dropped its most unapologetically pink summer collectible yet. Stepping up the Dunkin’ x Barbie collab to another level, they’ve released the Barbie Pink Pineapple Cup and it couldn’t be more perfect. This limited-edition pineapple has found the fine line of being drinkware and an accessory to elevate your summer vibe even more.
Looking back now at last week’s Barbie Dunkin’ Run post, the Barbie Pink Pineapple Cup was hiding in the background as a tease. As of today, June 12, it is finally available at participating Dunkin’ locations nationwide, though quantities are limited, and there are no restocks coming.
This one is made to be seen
The design earns the attention it’s going to get. With a hot pink metallic top and a clear pineapple-shaped base, it honestly seems more like something you’d pick up at a beachside gift shop than fast-food merch. The additional color-blocked pink and orange Dunkin’ straw pulls the whole look together sweetly.
The price and what you get
The math is pretty hard to argue with. For $10.99, you’re getting the Barbie Pink Pineapple Cup and a free medium drink. If you were already planning to head to Dunkin’ today, you’ll just be paying for the cup and getting your drink on top of it.
Dunkin’ is encouraging people to go early since there’s a capped amount per location and no plans to restock. This is not the kind of drop you can put off until later.
What to order with it
As part of the full Barbie summer menu launch, Dunkin’ rolled out the Pink Pineapple Refresher and the Daydream Refreshers topped with Barbie Pink Strawberry Cold Foam, both of which match the tropical pink aesthetic. Feeling coffee over a refresher? Not to worry, the cup works with any cold order. If you’re going all in on the tropical side, the Pink Pineapple Refresher is your best bet. The tropical flavor and the color were basically made for this cup.
Where this fits in the Dunkin’ x Barbie summer collab
The cup is the freshest drop of the summer-long Dunkin’ x Barbie campaign. Dunkin’ also opened up a Barbie DreamHouse pop-up in New York City, and through June, Dunkin’ Rewards members can earn 3x points on refresher orders during National Pink Day celebration days. So if you’ve been stacking up points this summer, this is a good time to make that run count.
The verdict
At $10.99, a free medium drink with a collectible cup is a solid deal. Not to mention, this cup is easily one of the better looking pieces of fast-food merch to drop this summer and it’s not coming back once it sells out. If you were thinking about making a Dunkin’ run today, this is an easy yes.
