February has become the unofficial month for mint-themed snack releases. Girl Scout cookies have dominated the mint scene for years with their Thin Mints. McDonald’s Shamrock Shake returns around this time of year. It is a time that food and mint lovers wait with anticipation for the next mint-themed collaboration. This year is exciting with returns and new releases from fast food and baking sweets, to hopefully join in on the February mint season craze, becoming an annual release.
Wendy’s Mint Frosty Swirl
Since coming out with the Thin Mints Frosty Swirl last year, a vanilla Frosty base with a fudge and cookie crumble mint sauce inspired by the cookies, it surprised everyone to say that this is an all-time fast food dessert. Now Wendy’s will also debut a new mint Frosty fusion with thin mints cookies mixed in. It will certainly become another favorite to add to the all-time dessert list. Time will tell when they release on February 16 at Wendy’s restaurants nationwide.
Dairy Queen’s Mint Crunchin’ Cookie Menu
New and classic mint items are on this year’s Dairy Queen’s mint-themed menu.
The Blizzard is an exclusive and staple dessert at Dairy Queen. They released their mint Oreo Blizzard last year, a swirl of mint topping and fresh crumbled Oreo pieces with a side of extra mint crunched cookies. It’s the best of two worlds to create a sweet and savory dessert.
The Mint Crunchin’ Cookie Parfait with Oreos will have layers of the Mint Crunchin’ Cookie dip with Oreo cookies and DQ’s famous soft-serve ice cream.
The newest addition, available on February 23, will be the Mint Crunchin’ Cookie Dipped Cone. It’s a vanilla soft serve covered with a green-tinted mint-flavored shell. The dip comes with cookie crumbles for a crunch and a sweet treat.
Miss Jones Baking Company Thin Mint Brownie Mix
For 2026, two sweet-treat companies are teaming up to create a delightful dessert, Miss Jones thin mint brownies. This baking mix is inspired by the Thin Mint Girl Scout cookie flavor. The Thin Mint kit will be a chocolate brownie mix with chocolate-mint frosting. Get your oven mitts ready, as they will be available on February 15 at Walmart for a limited time.
To go along with the baking mix, a smooth and creamy chocolate frosting with a hint of mint will also be released. The frosting will have crunchy chocolate mint sprinkles. This will be a perfect addition for your mint cake, cupcakes, or brownies.
This year’s mint season has many snacks, food, treats, and desserts. It will be hard to beat this year’s lineup, but rest assured, we will be on the lookout for new and comeback releases for mint-themed snacks in time for Mint season.
