The Best President’s Day Food Deals To Take Advantage Of This Weekend

President’s Day, happening this Monday, February 16, tends to be overshadowed by its slightly older twin sister: Valentine’s Day. This often-forgotten holiday honors both George Washington’s and Abraham Lincoln’s birthdays, and celebrates all U.S. presidents. Although most of us are not presidents, the extra day off work is appreciated by those who may have enjoyed their Valentine’s weekend a little too hard.

As with any holiday, a variety of brands offer exclusive deals and sales for Presidents’ Day. In addition to the classic mattress and kitchen appliance sales, a number of restaurants and fast-food chains are offering deals on menu items and dining credits. Keep reading to find out where to get some discounted eats this long weekend.

Firehouse Subs

If your name is George, James, or Abigail, you’re in luck! Firehouse Subs offers a fun BOGO deal every Presidents’ Day, in which people who share a first name with any U.S. president or first lady can get a free sandwich with the purchase of another. It’s not the most diverse list of names, but if you’ve got an old-fashioned name, Monday might just be your day.

The Cheesecake Factory

This Presidents’ Day, The Cheesecake Factory is bringing back its exclusive Winter Rewards Gift Card Offer. Available now through February 17, Registered Cheesecake Factory rewards members who purchase a $50 gift card through their account will receive a $10 dining credit. This credit is redeemable at any location between February 18 and March 31. Diners who purchase multiple gift cards can receive multiple dining credits for each $50 spent.

Dave & Busters

Head to your nearest Dave & Buster’s arcade this weekend to cash in on the Eat, Drink & Play Combo for just $19.99 per person. This deal includes an entree, a drink, and a $10 Power Card of game credit. But be aware that this deal does not apply after 5 pm on Friday and Saturday, so make sure to get your gaming in early!

Marco’s Pizza

This pizza chain’s new Marco’s More Menu offers over 30 menu items in a tiered pricing system, allowing customers to add to their meal affordably. When placing an order of at least $7.99, diners can add additional menu items for $5, $6, or $7. Five-dollar items include breadsticks, cheesy bread, and CinnaSquares. For $6, customers can add on 6-in subs and regular salads. For just $7, you can get an extra medium one-topping pizza, six pieces of chicken wings, or a pizza bowl.

WaBa Grill

This Asian rice-bowl chain with locations across the Southwest is offering an exclusive deal for its reward members this President’s Day. Members who order one entree can get a second entree for half price. Download their app to access this sale and a variety of other deals, such as 25% off your first purchase using the app.
