Heart-Shaped Chocolate-Covered Strawberries

@haileymakesfood

Valentine’s chocolate strawberry hearts🍓🍫 INGREDIENTS: •1 cup chocolate chips •2 tsp neutral oil (coconut, canola, avocado) •10-15 strawberries •valentines sprinkles Start by washing the strawberries, then pat them dry to help the chocolate stick. Slice off the tops then cut into a heart shape by slicing a “V” shape. Round out the edges if you’d like until you get the desired look. Melt the chocolate with the neutral oil by microwaving on half power in 20-30 second bouts, stirring between each bout. Be careful not to overheat the chocolate. Use a skewer/fork to dip the strawberries into the chocolate until coated, then let the excess chocolate drip off. Place on a pan covered with parchment paper. Decorate with valentines sprinkles and keep in the fridge for at least 30 minutes or until hardened! If not serving right away, keep stored in the fridge.🍫❣️ #valentinesday #valentinestreats #chocolatestrawberries #valentinedessert #sweettreats
