Where To Get The Cheapest Thanksgiving Dinner Deals

The holiday season might be the most wonderful time of the year, but it’s certainly not the cheapest. This is especially true this year, as turkey prices rise and, due to the government shutdown, food benefits for people are in peril. Luckily, a few retailers are combatting these struggles with affordable Thanksgiving meal deals that bring a whole traditional Thanksgiving feast to as many as ten people for as low as $36. Here’s where you can get the best and cheapest Thanksgiving dinner deals for your holiday table this year.

Amazon, $25 for 5 people

If you’re having a smaller Thanksgiving dinner, Amazon has got you covered with a meal deal made for a family (or friend group!) of five. For $25, or $5 dollars per person, you can get all of the Thanksgiving staples: an eight-pound turkey, crescent roll dough, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, stuffing, and green bean casserole. And don’t worry, they didn’t forget about pie. You can choose from a pumpkin pie, a pecan pie, or a sweet potato pie. You can place your Thanksgiving meal order starting on November 12 and can order all the way until Thanksgiving day, November 27.

Walmart, under $40 for 10 people

Walmart is offering a Thanksgiving deal fit for a 10-person dinner at their cheapest price ever. For less than $4 dollars per dinner guest, you can get a meal that includes a 13.5-pound turkey, fried onions, cream of mushroom soup, two packs of stuffing, three boxes of macaroni and cheese, bread rolls, gravy mix, four kinds of fresh and canned vegetables, cranberries, and three pumpkin pie ingredients. They also have just slightly more expensive gluten-free and higher protein editions of the meal deal.

The meal deal is available now all the way through Christmas, and you can pick up the meal in-stores or have it delivered to your doorstep to avoid braving grocery stores around the holidays. And if you’ve never ordered pickup or delivery from Walmart, you get free Express Delivery.

Aldi, under $40 for 10 people

Aldi is also getting in on the feeding ten for under $40 Thanksgiving meal deal, though their meal is less premade then the others on this list so get ready to do more than just put things in the oven. Their bundle comes with 21 ingredients that can be used to make a 14-pound turkey, stuffing, mac and cheese, green bean casserole, sweet potato casserole, mashed potatoes and gravy, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin pie. There’s also bread rolls, which you don’t have to make. The deal is available now through December 24 and can be grabbed in-store, through online order for pickup, or through delivery services like Instacart and DoorDash.

Lidl, under $36 for 10 people

Lidl is providing an even better ten person deal, with their Thanksgiving meal bundle ringing in at less than $36 or $3.60 per guest. Starting November 5, you can grab their meal kit which features both premade meals, including a 14-pound turkey, gravy, mac and cheese, stuffing mix, cranberry sauce, sweet rolls, and ingredients for mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, sweet potato casserole, and pumpkin pie. The deal is available through November 26.

Sam’s Club, under $100 for 10 people

Sam’s Club is giving you more bang for your buck this year by adding new items to their Thanksgiving meal deal without raising the price, amounting to $10 per dinner guest. Their deal includes their brand-name food products including a hickory smoked turkey, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, green beans with festive toppings, Garlic Herb Corn, salad, bread rolls, sweet potato casserole, and of course, pumpkin pie, for under $100. The meal, available now, is said to feed ten people and can be prepped and ready for you in two hours. It can be bought in-stores or online, picked up curbside, or delivered.

Publix, $70 for 7 to 10 people

Another decent deal is from Publix, which offers a $70 meal deal for seven to ten people, meaning about $10 dollars per plate. Their meal includes a full turkey, 2.5 pounds of mashed potatoes, cornbread dressing kits, cranberry orange relish, gravy, and “marshmallow delight.” It’s available now, though they do note that you need to order 48 hours before you want it.

Be on the lookout for other deals as well, as some retailers who had deals last year, like Target, may have Thanksgiving deals they have yet to release.
