The Internet Is Obsessed With Walmart’s Cupcake Bouquets

Updated Published

Walmart’s bakery does not play when it comes to your sweet tooth, as we’ve learned in the last year with their Crumbl dupes and affordable Valentine’s Day cakes. And now yet another of their desserts has the internet spellbound: cupcake bouquets.

What are the Walmart cupcake bouquets?

Walmart’s cupcake bouquets are exactly what they sound like: an arrangement of cupcakes designed to look like a bouquet of flowers. Each one features 12 cupcakes, that come in chocolate, vanilla, or a mix of the two, iced with colorful floral designs of either buttercream or a whipped icing. It also seems possible to get the cupcakes filled if you so choose. The bouquets even come in a bouquet-shaped holder wrapped with a ribbon and sometimes decorative paper.

What are the different styles?

Just like picking and choosing what flowers to put in a real display, Walmart is offering a variety of different bouquet styles to choose from. They have staples like a rose bouquet, as well as mixed bouquets in a variety of color palettes featuring mimic pansies, sunflowers, hydrangeas, and even hibiscus. Some of the bouquets come with additional decor like butterflies or glitter too. And it appears that you can also design your own custom bouquet if you don’t like the premade options.

Some Walmarts are even selling Halloween versions, one with orange, purple, and white flowers with black leaves as well as a bloody spider edition and an all black edition. If you’re headed to a Halloween party soon, and don’t know what to bring, this just may be it because what’s better than a centerpiece and dessert in one?

How much are the bouquets?

The cupcake bouquets clock in at $20, putting each cupcake at about $1.70, which, considering they’re highly decorated and some have additional decor, is pretty solid. That’s cheaper than a nice bouquet of real flowers. Tastier too. Though it might be a little hard to dig in, simply because it’ll be like destroying art.

What are people saying about the cupcake bouquets?

These bouquets have the internet swooning…and racing to Walmart to get one for themselves. User @xpaleee said, “These are so cuteeee. I didn’t know they had these. 🥺💓” and @_mellll99 said “About to buy myself a cupcake bouquet from Walmart 😂.” One user, @brybry_024, joked, “Sad day to be allergic to wheat.” Other commenters shared pictures of their own bouquets, practically making a garden out of the comment sections.

Reviewers have weighed in too, saying the cupcakes are “light and fluffy” and “soft and most” and that the buttercream is good texturally. So the cupcake bouquets look good and they taste good and they’re only 20 dollars? Let’s just say it’s a good day to be near a Walmart.
