If you don’t particularly care about football or a box of chocolates, there’s still a February holiday that calls for celebration: National Margarita Day. February 22 is dedicated to the popular tequila cocktail, which typically includes tequila, triple sec and lime juice. Whether it’s frozen or on the rocks, classic or flavored, paired with Mexican food or enjoyed solo, there’s plenty of National Margarita Day deals to add an extra kick to your night out.
Abuelo’s
The traditional Mexican chain Abuelo’s is celebrating National Margarita Day by selling $8 margaritas all day long on February 22. While that may seem like a steep price for a discounted drink, the deal includes premium margaritas, so you can still score big on any customized bevvy like Berry Paloma Margarita or the Skinny Margarita.
Applebee’s
Although there are no National Margarita Day deals at Applebee’s (yet), the restaurant has the still has its popular Dollarita deal. You can enjoy the original margaritas or add flavors like strawberry and mango — all for a dollar.
Bahama Breeze Island Grille
If you’re in the mood for Carribean food and margarita, head to Bahama Breeze on February 22. The restaurant will be offering $2.22 classic margaritas all day, so be sure to take advantage of this sweet (and cheap!) deal while cocktails cost less than your average coffee.
Chili’s
The chain hasn’t announced any deals yet, but in 2024, Chili’s offered a deal for $5 margaritas in celebration of National Margarita Day, so, we can only hope the deal is back for 2025. And, even if they don’t offer a distinct deal on February 22, you can always visit your local Chili’s during Happy Hour to purchase a classic margarita for $4.
While no deal is confirmed yet, Chili’s is releasing merch in honor of the holiday, and, of course, there is the traditional Margarita of the Month. This month’s marg is the StrawEddy, which is made with Lunazul Blanco Tequila, Deep Eddy Lemon Vodka, strawberry purée, and house-made sour.
CHUY’S
For National Margarita Day, CHUY’S is allowing customers to upgrade their margarita size to a grande for only $2 more. New drinks that are on the menu include the jalapeňo margarita and the frozen raspberry margarita.
Fuzzy’s Taco Shop
Fuzzy’s will be offering $5 Sangria ‘Rita swirls and house margaritas for National Margarita Day. Order one of these delicious drinks and pair it with the OG tacos or chips and queso.
Tin Lizzy’s Cantina
If you happen to be in the Atlanta area, hit up Tin Lizzy’s Cantina on National Margarita Day, where customers can enjoy $6 house margaritas and $8 Casa Noble margaritas.
Rreal Tacos
Rreal Tacos will be celebrating National Margarita Day with a new and innovative menu featuring multiple margaritas ranging from $9 to $20. If you can’t decide which flavor to choose, you can also opt for the real margarita flight, which costs $30 for all four beverages.
