Here’s How To Get A Free Slurpee At 7-Eleven In January

7-Eleven understands the plight of running out of juice, whether it’s your car running out of gas or you running out of steam after 31 long, cold days of January. 7-Eleven serves up free Slurpees annually on July 11 for the annual (aka 7/11 of the calendar year) “Slurpee Day,” but the convenience store chain has decided that, after a six month hiatus, free Slurpees just can’t wait until July. Instead, 7-Eleven is now offering free Slurpees to celebrate the end of the seemingly-endless month of January. A sweet treat as a reward to surviving the month sounds great to me, no matter how freezing the temperatures are outside.

What is the January Free Slurpee deal at 7-Eleven?

Despite the “new year, new me” energy that’s overflowing on December 31, 7-Eleven recognizes that January is a routinely a struggle to get through. So, in honor of surviving the month, 7-Eleven will be giving out free small Slurpees to customers at the end of January. You can now cross the freezing cold finish line with a frozen treat in hand — that’s better than a medal, right?

What flavor of free Slurpees can I get at 7-Eleven?

If there’s anything 7-Eleven is known for, it’s probably the iconic Slurpee — an icy drink mixed with syrups or sodas coming in classic flavors like cherry and blue raspberry, plus the occasional pumpkin spice. While the red cherry and blue raspberry Slurpee flavors are classics, 7-Eleven’s Slurpee selection is much broader than the classic duo. There’s a number of soda-inspired flavors, from Coke and Pepsi to Dr. Pepper and Mountain Dew, and the current limited-edition Slurpee is a zero-sugar Coca-Cola Oreo flavor, a 7-Eleven exclusive flavor that arrived in the 7-Eleven x Oreo “Besties” campaign.

Or if you’re looking to stick with fruity flavors, 7-Eleven has got you covered with peach, piña colada, or even a sweet-and-spicy chili mango. There are plenty of flavors to choose from — and, of course, you can mix and match to your heart’s content with the self-serve machines.

When can I get free Slurpees at 7-Eleven?

Naturally, 7-Eleven is offering free Slurpees on the last day of the month, January 31. If this long month has left your hands and spirit frozen, it’s time to thaw out and brave the wintery weather because the deal only lasts for one day. When January is over, the deal will be too, and there won’t be any more free Slurpees come February 1.

How can I get this free Slurpee?

You can get your frozen (and very free!) sweet treat by making your way to your closest 7-Eleven, Stripes Store, or Speedway — all you have to do is fill up a small cup with your favorite Slurpee flavor.

The only catch? There is a one free Slurpee per customer limit, so if you feel like just one Slurpee won’t do the trick, or you’re picking up some for friends, family, or roommates, the second drink will have to be on you. If a free Slurpee sounds like the perfect deal, head to 7-Eleven as soon as you can on January 31 — good as long as supplies last. Congratulations on surviving January!
